Where these numbers come from, and what they are not.
Scores, schedules, teams and players
Game results, schedules, team information and player biographies come from BallDontLie. The live scoreboard is refreshed about once a minute while games are in progress. Everything else is rebuilt nightly.
Standings are derived, not reported
The standings table on this site is computed from completed game results, not taken from an official standings feed. Wins, losses, win percentage, home and away splits, conference and division records, streaks and last-ten form are all calculated from the game scores.
For ordinary cases this matches the official table. It does not implement the NBA's full tiebreaker procedure: teams level on win percentage here are ordered by wins and then losses, where the league would apply head-to-head record, division standing and conference record in sequence. Treat the seeding on /standings as indicative rather than official.
Betting odds
Odds come from The Odds API, which aggregates prices from licensed sportsbooks. Each price carries the time it was captured. Because of the request budget on our plan, odds are captured a handful of times a day rather than continuously, so a price shown here may differ from the current price at the bookmaker.
Odds are presented for information only. Scoreonline does not accept wagers, does not link to sportsbooks, carries no affiliate relationships and earns nothing from displaying them.
What we do not use
This site does not use undocumented NBA endpoints and does not scrape other scores sites. Everything here comes from an API whose terms permit the use.

Scoreonline is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the National Basketball Association or any of its teams. Team names are used descriptively and remain the property of their owners.
